Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Clakra, we want you to be satisfied with our services. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for purchases made on Clakra. By making a purchase, you agree to this policy.

2. What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to the following purchase types:

  • Subscription Plans — Recurring monthly Pro subscriptions.
  • Credit Packs — One-time purchases of credits for generation usage.

Free credits (signup bonus, daily claims) are not eligible for refund since no payment was made.

3. Refund Window

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the purchase date. Requests received after this window will not be eligible for a refund.

4. Eligible Refund Situations

You may qualify for a refund in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charges — You were charged multiple times for the same purchase, or you were charged an incorrect amount.
  • Unused credits — You purchased a credit pack but have not consumed any of those credits.
  • Platform unavailability— A confirmed service outage on Clakra's side prevented you from using the service for a substantial portion of your subscription period.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in these cases:

  • Consumed credits — Credits that have already been used for generation tasks, regardless of whether you were satisfied with the results.
  • Completed generations — Tasks that were successfully generated and made available for download.
  • Violation of policies — Accounts suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Past the refund window — Requests submitted more than 7 days after the purchase date.
  • Change of mind — You simply decided you no longer want the service, where credits remain unused but the refund window has passed.

6. AI Generation Failures

If a generation task fails or times out due to a platform error, the credits consumed for that task are automatically returned to your account balance. This is handled by our system in real time and does not require a refund request.

If you notice credits were not returned for a failed task, please contact our support team with the task ID so we can investigate and manually credit your account if necessary.

7. Unsatisfactory Generation Results

AI-generated content is inherently unpredictable. Results can vary based on the model, prompt, and parameters used. We do not offer refunds for:

  • Generation results you consider aesthetically unsatisfactory
  • Output that differs from your subjective expectations
  • Content that does not match a style or quality you had in mind

We encourage you to experiment with different prompts, models, and settings to achieve your desired results. Free credits are available to test models before making a purchase.

8. Subscription Cancellation

When you cancel a Pro subscription, your access to Pro features continues until the end of your current billing period. Your subscription will not renew, and you will not be charged again.

We do not provide partial or prorated refunds for the remaining portion of a current billing period after cancellation. If you cancel mid-cycle, you can continue using Pro features until the period ends.

9. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • Once refunded, corresponding credits will be removed from your account.

10. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, send an email to support@clakra.com with the following information:

  • The email address associated with your Clakra account
  • Your order or transaction ID (if available)
  • The specific purchase you are requesting a refund for (subscription or credit pack)
  • The reason for your refund request

We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days with a decision.

11. Before Filing a Chargeback

If you have a billing concern, we strongly encourage you to contact us at support@clakra.com before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.

Chargebacks filed without first contacting our support team may result in the immediate suspension of your Clakra account while the dispute is being resolved.

12. Payment Processor

All payments on Clakra are processed by Creem.io, which acts as the Merchant of Record. This means Creem.io handles payment processing, billing, and certain aspects of refund fulfillment on our behalf.

When you make a purchase on Clakra, you will see Creem.io on your billing statement. Refunds approved under this policy will be processed through Creem.io and returned to your original payment method.
